Pinctada Resort Broome

Broome’s latest 5 star resort opened last weekend to a great response and mango daquiri’s all round.

The luxury resort has 43 of Studio rooms, 24 of Villa’s, and 4 of ultra luxury “treehouses”. Adding to these are the impressive common areas which include a Restaurant, Health Spa, Conference rooms, Bars, Gymnasium, Pools, Ponds and extensive landscaping and gardens.

Light Application are proud to have been selected to provide the Australian manufactured Dynalite system for the entire resort. The original lighting design of Haron Robson NSW has been developed over the last year to include custom glass wall panels, extensive control of ceiling fans, intelligent energy saving regimes, utilising presence detection in all rooms. The Dynalite system for instance is globally controlled by the resort management, and is linked to the Hotel booking system and HVAC system, to ensure maximum energy saving when rooms are unoccupied or balcony doors open within the accommodation rooms. Common area’s utilise different lighting presets determined by occupancy levels and season to best portray the resorts elegance and style.
