Margaret River Main Street Makeover
The Margaret River main street has undergone a major transformation. The Margaret River Main Street Makeover project included many design improvements to create a more enjoyable shopping and food hub for locals and visitors alike.
Light Application were subcontracted by Nilsen & ERG Electrics to supply 3000K Philips Lumas with CityTouch Smart Control Nodes for the 3 stages of Margaret River's main street road/path lighting. CityTouch is a smart connected street lighting solution for outdoor street lighting management and analysing lighting data. CityTouch creates new ways to save money, keep citizens safe, and improve operational efficiency. The CityTouch nodes communicate via 3G to the Cloud, allowing control, scheduling, and monitoring of all the lights, from the Augusta-Margaret River Shire office or any other device connected to the Internet via a secure, password protected portal.
The team at Light Application also provided Pharos control for the RGBW DMX In-ground luminaries, which provide decorative lighting along the main street. The inclusion of Pharos Cloud in the LPC1 controller allows the shire to schedule and control the in ground luminaires from the Augusta-Margaret River shire office or any other device connected to the internet via a secure, password protected portal.
This new lighting system is the icing on the cake for the Margaret River Main Street Makeover and we love the result!
