Alinta Energy Headquarters

Alinta Energy is currently refitting 7 floors of the “Allendale II” building on the Esplanade in Perth to be its new WA corporate headquarters.

Since listing on the stock exchange in 2000, Alinta now has operations in almost all states of Australia, supplying gas & electricity, and has become one of the Australia’s leading energy infrastructure companies.

As part of the WA fit out, PGD Consulting Engineers specified a Dynalite lighting control system, to obtain the significant energy saving regimes and intelligent control required for the client.
Based on the recent and highly successful “Woodside Plaza” building, the design is heavily focused on “ease of use”, energy saving, daylight harvesting, light level maintenance, intelligent control and interfacing between the BMS system and the clients own “end user” interface. Whilst competitors of the Dynalite system fought hard to be considered, only the fully integrated “Australian made” Dynalite system could be demonstrated to meet the full list of specified energy saving features and overall benefits for the client.

The 7 floors are fully controlled with a mix of presence detection, fluorescent and incandescent dimming, switching control, programmable wall panels, interfacing to security, fire, BMS, HVAC, and the Dynalite End user software suite, ControlSoft. The fit out includes training and AV rooms featuring integration to the AV systems, meeting rooms, open plan offices and individual offices. Due for completion in the next few months, Light Application is proud to be supplying and programming all of the Dynalite equipment for this project.
