ControlSoft

ControlSoft is front-end user software for controlling the range of Dynalite systems and devices. It has been designed from the ground up with the end-user in mind in order to be as easy to use as possible.

With strong emphasis on the use of English, the technical jargon is removed and ControlSoft becomes a powerful interface that can execute multiple commands from a single button press, or completely unattended.

Once installed on a PC in only a few minutes, ControlSoft can be controlling ~any~ circuit of lighting on the Dynalite Network to which it is connected.

By use of Macros, the user can develop their own sequences incorporating Dynalite instructions, timed delays and even Windows Media, making dynamic feedback a reality. Once saved, these macros can be smaller parts of larger macros, they can be called directly, assigned to buttons or even scheduled according to when the Sun rises or sets.

ControlSoft can react to and take action upon hearing events on the network. An end-user could even re-program the actions of a Dynalite wallplate button by listening for it and issuing new, superseding commands.

ControlSoft can be used as a diagnostics tool. Keeping a record of every message that passes on the network, reporting can be achieved on usage and patterns. Energy management is more easily realised with data on how long and how often devices are switched or dimmed. Harnessing the PC's e-mail system, reports or even alerts can be issued to on-site or off-site technicians about events on the network such as Circuit breaker trip, or network wiring breakage's.
