Hardware Required
ControlSoft can be run on a fairly minimum spec computer.
Suggested Hardware would include:
| Pentium 300Mhz Processor or Better |
| 128M RAM or Better |
| Video Card capable of 1024x768 and 256 colours or Better |
| 4 Gig Hard Drive with at least 100Mb Free Space Available |
| CDROM for installation of Software, Upgrades Etc. |
| At least one RS232 Serial Port with D-type 9 pin connector Available for use. ( Either Com1 or Com2) |
| In "Server" Version, a network card and TCP/IP protocol and network available. |
| In any case, a network card is highly recommended for the ability to connect to and maintain the system in the future |
| A Dynalite PC-Node Part Number DTK-622 type B or type G : (type G is preferred) |
| NOTE: | Internally the PC-Node has a jumper which must be set to the Auto Position. ( near to the RJ12 sockets, and away from the LED and Ribbon Cable ) |
| PC Nodes of Type D and Type F should be avoided and are not Supported. | |
| NEW !!! | The DTK622-USB is NOT compatible with Controlsoft. |
| To use a USB port, you will require a regular DTK622 and USB/232 convertor | |
